Build Louder

Build Louder is Habitat for Humanity’s multi-year advocacy campaign focused on neighborhood revitalization, which includes housing trust funds, and secure tenure.

Because more than 1.6 billion people worldwide have desperate and complex shelter needs, Habitat for Humanity is committed to helping them live and remain in homes that are safe and affordable.

By partnering with families and advocates to promote responsible policies, we seek to strengthen communities and reduce poverty throughout the world - building hope for the secure future God intends for us all.

Already, Habitat partners, supporters, affiliates and volunteers have made an impact on the Build Louder campaign issues of secure tenure and housing trust funds. One significant accomplishment is that HFH advocates made more than 350 Congressional visits focused on housing trust funds and during Habitat on the Hill 2008. Soon after, federal affordable housing trust fund legislation passed in Congress.
