Question: I found different Area Median Income (AMI) limits on the HUD user website and the limits for my county are slightly different than the link above. Which income limits should my Habitat affiliate use to qualify a partner family for the MSHDA Down Payment Assistance Program?

Question: I found different Area Median Income (AMI) limits on the HUD user website and the limits for my county are slightly different than the link above. Which income limits should my Habitat affiliate use to qualify a partner family for the MSHDA Down Payment Assistance Program?
Answer: MSHDA uses the HOME program income limits that come from HUD. The income limits currently on HUD’s website are for the Section 8 program. Please use the FY2013 income limits (found using the link above) to qualify families for this grant.
