- Affordable Housing and Homeownership
- A department of the U.S. federal government agency Housing and Urban Development(HUD), the Office of Community Planning and Development provides program descriptions, program information, and a special page of links for nonprofit organizations.
- CEDAM
- The Community Economic Development Association of Michigan is a nonprofit organization of community development corporations (CDCs), individuals, and other organizations interested in promoting and expanding community-based housing and economic development across the state of Michigan.
- Center on Budget and Policy Priorities(CBPP)
- A non-partisan research organization that conducts research on U.S. federal government policies affecting low and moderate income people. Written by leading experts on housing, CBPP offers analysis of proposed and enacted policy changes.
- Lewis Mumford Center for Comparative Urban and Regional Research
- The center established at the University of Albany focuses on the urban political economy. The website offers information and analyses of the racial, ethnic composition, and homeownership rates of metropolitan areas.
- Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness
- A nonprofit organization whose mission is to decrease the incidence of homelessness, improve the quality of services provided to people who are homeless and to effect systemic change to the root causes of homelessness.
- Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA)
- MSHDA is a state of Michigan government agency that helps to address the housing needs of low and moderate income families, elderly people, and people with disabilities. Through the administration of federally funded programs and grants, MSHDA works in all counties of Michigan.
